Fairweather Manor is a larp set in a stately English Manor House during World War 1. It is inspired by media like Downton Abbey and Upstairs, Downstairs.
March of 1917, for England it is the very darkest part of the Great War. The German U-Boat blockade threatens to starve the nation. The United States has not entered the war and shows no sign of doing so. Things have become desperate in the trenches of France and a revolution has begun in Russia that signals the decline of the aristocracy around the world.
In this time of tragedy and horror, the many branches of the Fairweather family gather at their sumptuous manor in the English countryside to celebrate the marriage of the Duke’s son and heir to his betrothed.
During the event, the participants leave their normal lives behind to spend three days at the end of an era, immersing themselves in a time of great tradition and change as the nobles, servants and guests of a decadent great house at the close of the Edwardian period.
Note: Buying an upstairs ticket will offer you to play as an artist, expert or noble.
You can pay all at once, or you can pay in three installments (called rates), to make it easier to spread out the expenditure.
- Buying the 1st rate secures you a place at the larp.
- The 2nd rate must be paid two months after the original purchase of the 1st rate.
- The 3rd rate must be paid four months after the original purchase of the 1st rate.
- If you sign up less than six months before the experience, you will only have the option of paying all at once
- You can also buy one ticket for a newcomer friend, who has never attended a FM larp before (Bring-a-friend ticket). These tickets need to be purchased in the same order.
Please do not pay for 2nd or 3rd rate without having first paid for the 1st rate, your ticket will not be valid if you do so.
You are of course very welcome to pay everything at once, which gives a (roughly) 10% discount. This saves you money and makes our lives easier!
